Mohawk Statue Auction for Charity

Browsing eBay today, I came across an auction for a 2′ Mohawk statue where all of the proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society as part of the Relay For Life event.

Normally, I try and avoid posting news about eBay auctions, but I am a sucker for charity and goodwill acts so I will have to ignore my policy today….

This is one of the better painted statues, and looks phenominal. This is a great opportunity for a good cause, so check out the link and bid. (you can also click on the picture to get to the auction.) The auction is running until January 27th, but if you miss it, you can also simply donate at http://www.acsevents.org/relay/mi/westland/patriciasgardenangels.

I was pretty lucky with the Mohawk I got last year, good shape and decent price, sometimes you can get that on ebay, others not so much… lol… Has there been any suggestion that they are going to release a set of the other Mogwai? That would be fantastic, I always loved Lenny… lol..

I found a mohawk plush on ebay a while back, I’ve seen a few of them over the last year, are you looking for the Jun Planning one or the Neca one? Both are rare on ebay, but they do come along. I found one by setting “Gremlins plush mohawk” to one of my favourite searches, and I get an email anytime one goes on ebay…
    Good luck!

Well andrew, it doesn’t look like you are going to have to pay for it anyways, since the reserve was not met by your bid….the shipping is a bit ridiculous though.

I wonder, did they use the same sculpt on the Cult Classic Mohawk fugure but then made it smaller? They look a lot like eachother and since they’re both from NECA it seems quite obvious.

i just bid on it but just realized shipping is 349 dollars…yikes!!….
